3. To provide the patient with nutritional training, so that they may achieve their ideal weight and the therapeutic objectives without major side effects.
4. To teach actions, so that the patient is able to avoid the eating disorder, thus stimulating the creating of healthy eating habits.
5. To transform the patient into the “leading actor” in the control of their treatment, so that they make a commitment towards the goals previously set.
6. Minimize the difficulty the patient will have during the first stages of treatment in coping in the new healthy diet and the practice of physical exercise.
